Congressional negotiators struck a deal Thursday that overturns the new rules that were to have banned sales of traditional incandescent light bulbs beginning next year.
Dammit! What’s the point of being a powerful Congressman if you can’t support your own investments through the legislative process!

The rider doesn’t actually repeal the ban; it just prevents the administration from spending any money to enforce the new light bulb standards.
There you go. Sooner or later, Pelosi will wax.** And then just watch.
* A rhetorical question, obviously. Nancy Pelosi would have sold off those stocks as soon as Republicans gained control of the House. Not enough of a sure thing anymore.
** Metaphorically speaking, of course. As in: the waxing moon. As in: increasing. Not to be taken literally, because, eeewww.
