The other 54% think he won’t even run.
Poll:
46 percent of likely voters predicted Obama will lose next year
That’s in The Hill. Remember: polls suck. But at least this one polled registered voters.
This part was interesting:
When it comes to grading his first term, 51 percent of polled voters said Obama was either a failure (37 percent) or not very successful (14 percent), while 48 percent said he was either very successful (16 percent) or somewhat successful (32 percent).
“Failure” over “very successful” by more than two-to-one. Ouch.
UPDATE - you know, it all depends on how you consider it. I may consider Obamacare to be a massive cluster of…well, you can fill in the usual word yourselves. But he did get it passed, which, even if it does turn out to be the aforementioned cluster, was a “big effin’ deal.”
He didn’t close Gitmo. He continued to pursue the War on Terror. Hell, he expanded our use of force in the Middle East.
Most importantly, he paved the way for the Republican Wave of 2010, and, hopefully, for the repeat in 2012.
Sounds awfully successful to me.

I’m confused. Who expanded Gitmo, who else didn’t close it? Who started the War on Terror? Who else initiated or expanded force in the Middle East?
What’s to be confused about? In my opinion, keeping Gitmo open is a success. So if I wanted to, I could say Obama’s presidency has been a success, because he kept it open. To the people who voted for him, that’s a failure. But not to me.
