PAC: Mitt Romney “second most dangerous man in America.” Prompts the question: who’s #1? Is it me?
Oh, fine, it’s not me. We know who they mean. The story:
MASON CITY, Iowa – The Strong America Now Super PAC is sending direct mail pieces to Iowans this week in support of Newt Gingrich while attacking Mitt Romney – something the Gingrich campaign has vowed not to tolerate.
“Romney is the second most dangerous man in America and will perpetuate Obama’s slide into financial crisis,” one of at least two mailers from the Super PAC floating around the state reads. “Don’t let Romney backers mislead you!” it continues.
Nice little shot at Gingrich in that first paragraph, there. How can this be! He said he wouldn’t tolerate it!
Anyway. They’re obviously saying that President Obama is the most dangerous man in America, and Romney’s second only to him. If, hypothetically, Obama were to suddenly resign and leave Biden as president, then Biden would leapfrog Romney to the #1 spot.
Conversely, if Hillary Clinton decides to run against Obama and looks like she’s going to win, then Romney would become the first most dangerous man in America.
Hillary would be the most dangerous person, see.
To which I say: fine. Geez. What’s a guy gotta do to get a “most dangerous” mention, here? Y’know, just a nod of the head? A “participant” ribbon?
