Seven Packers selected for the Pro Bowl
The lucky selectees:
On offense: QB Aaron Rodgers (duh); C Scott Wells (a lineman!); FB John Kuhn (for whom the crowd screams every time the Packers are in a short-yardage situation, thus alerting the other team to what the Packers plan to run, which then ends up working anyway); and WR Greg Jennings.
On defense: CB Charles Woodson; LB Clay Matthews; and DT B.J. Raji.
Seems odd to send three defensive players in a year when we’re playing such awful defense, but there you go.
Baltimore also had seven players named. Two teams – New England and San Francisco – placed eight players in the Pro Bowl. That ties them for the most this year.
Which is fine. We hope they’ll all enjoy their stay in Honolulu, while the Packers and the Ravens are preparing to play in Indianapolis. Right, Mike?
