And you know what that means? It means we were borrowing way too much in 1980!
The title quote, by the way, is #12 in “12 Scary Debt Facts for 2012.” Honestly, #12 was the scariest one. Oh, #6 was pretty scary, too. I guess. But still not as bad as #12.
