That’s the headline to a long piece in the Palm Beach Post about Koch, his politics, and his charitable work. I know what you’re thinking: the arrogance, right? Thinking he could possibly cure cancer?
Sure, if there’s a profit in it. Filthy profit! It’s not like a money-grubbing heartless conservative like Koch would just give his money away. Right?
(Koch) holds board seats with 23 nonprofit groups and has pledged gifts totaling more than $750 million for cancer research, the arts and cultural institutions, according to his foundation.
Oh, sure. Stupid capitalist thinks he can just buy a cure for cancer. It’s all about the money with him, isn’t it. I think maybe he’s been snorting too much of his own name.
