This seems like something that Trog would blog about
Trog, blog, rhymes. Heh. Anyway…
Everybody loves that Lambeau Leap, right? Well maybe some of us love it more than others. And some of us, a little less. To wit:
“I try to go away from the men because the men get a little grabby,” Jennings said. “The women get grabby too but them men it’s like come on, really, seriously?”
That’s Greg Jennings, explaining why the Leap can be a little, um, uncomfortable, sometimes.
So I’m sure I speak for all cheeseheads (and Packers stockholders) everywhere, when I say: really? Really? I know it’s exciting – the touchdown, the celebration, the iconic jump into the stands. But if we’re gonna support our team and help them win – or at least feel like we’re helping them win, you know who you are - let’s control our enthusiasm. Okay? The players have to do it. There are penalties for excessive celebrations, you know. The fans can do it too.
Let’s make sure that Packers players love the Leap as much as Packers fans do.
I am watching you. And your hands. You, in the end zone. Be cool.
