Paul Ryan and the National League Pennant Race
September 16, 2012
When Mitt Romney selected Paul Ryan of Wisconsin as his running mate for the upcoming Presidential election, Ryan’s home state Milwaukee Brewers had a record of 51-61. The Brew Crew was 16 games out of first place and 11.5 games out of the second wild card spot.
After that day the Brewers have gone 23-11 (.676) and, at the end of today, they will only be 2.5 games out of the second Wild Card play-off spot.
Coincidence? I think not!
Will Ryan have the same effect on the American economy and losing jobs market? If elected, yes!
