Okay so that one might be asked. But not these others. Via Twitchy, a hashtag for tonight’s presidential debate: #DebateQuestionsThatWontBeAsked.
- “Mr. President, in 2009 you said: ‘…today I’m pledging to cut the deficit we inherited by half by the end of my first term in office.’ So what the hell?”
- “Mr. President, in 2009, you said: ‘…if I don’t have this,’ meaning the economy, ‘done in 3 years, then this is going to be a one-term proposition.’ So when are you planning to quit the presidential race?”
We at The Trog will not be watching tonight’s debate, partly due to family commitments and partly – mostly – due to a total lack of desire. I’m sure I’ll be able to read about nothing else tomorrow, though, so it’s all good.
