That recent great, big lottery jackpot would fund the U.S. government for…

Saw this somewhere on the internet today:
Huh. Quickly leaping to my search bar and clicking on the resulting Wikipedia entry (yes, I know), I found the number $3,803,000,000,000. That’s $3.8 trillion.
Divided by 365, that’s $10,410,958,904.11 per day.
- $433,789,954.34 per hour.
- $7,229,832.57 per minute.
- $120,497.21 per second.
Oops, went too far. Go back to “per minute.” Divide the lottery jackpot – $540 million – by the amount per minute…and that’s 74.69 minutes, or just under an hour and a quarter.
Dunno if the cartoon is a little off, or I am, or my source of information is.
