Two rocket launchers and 75 assault weapons were collected Wednesday as part of Los Angeles’ gun buyback program.
Rocket. Launchers.
Note to self: reassess home area defensive perimeter, because if there are people out there in possession of rocket launchers, what the hell else do people have?
Note to the rest of you: according to my usual amount (5 minutes) of internet research, rocket launchers aren’t illegal, at least not at the federal level. The ammunition is, but the launchers themselves aren’t. So guess what’s going on my Christmas list for next year!
Additional note to self: absorption of neighboring “buffer homes” may be necessary.
Ummnnnhhhh, yah. Rocket-launchers are “one-and-done” devices. That’s why they are “inert.”
The LAW is a one and done. Other kinds of rocket launchers aren’t. I don’t know what that is in the picture – it might be.
