Okay, so they didn’t mistake Chirac for the actual, current President of France, who has a whole different name that doesn’t really sound French at all. Fausta points out that it was still a screw-up – it just wasn’t the blazing-sun-like screwup we thought it was.
Tell you what, though: there’s a question nobody’s asked, but somebody should.
