How about the Freedom from Religion Foundation?
Via Clever S.Logan: the Hawaii State Senate declares Sept. 24…Islam Day!
This is just one more example that Democrats are willing to sacrifice anything on the altar of tolerance. Justifying his vote, Democrat Senator Will Espero proclaimed, “We are a state of tolerance.” Tolerant you may be, Mr. Espero, but you may recall the words of the great G.K. Chesterton:
“Tolerance is the virtue of the man without convictions.”
I can only imagine the liberal response had this vote not passed: “How bigoted! How old-fashioned!” Instead, how about: “How American!”
A brief jog around the internet seems to indicate that, no, Hawaii does not recognize a Christianity Day, Judaism Day, Hinduism Day, Wiccan Day, or any other such form of religious tolerance.
Also, as of yet, there has been no obvious response by the usual anti-religious suspects like Furff or, as one would usually expect, the Democratic Party.
At the 2000 Democratic National Convention, delegates booed a group of Boy Scouts (whom the DNC had invited to lead the Pledge of Allegiance) because the Boy Scouts of America didn’t allow gay scoutmasters.
In several Islamic nations, homosexuality is punishable by death.
Give that religion a plaque!
