William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection: Thou Shall Not Mock Obama’s Mustard
My post the other day, MSNBC Hides Obama’s Dijon Mustard (aka Dijongate), has hit a nerve unlike anything else I have written.
…Like most of my posts, Dijongate could have and probably should have fallen into the black hole of internet punditry, never to be seen or heard of again. But the reaction from the nutroots was widespread and swift, and they have kept the story alive.
I linked to Bill’s post here and got linked in return by the Warren Zevon Fan Club. Much traffic was had, and lo it was good.
I felt a little bit guilty about that, since it was Bill’s post to begin with, but then The Blogprof got Instalanched after he linked to my post about Denise Richards, so I figure it evens out eventually. Kind of.
Also: Bill’s right that it’s the posts you never think will amount to anything that seem to get the most attention. Which really means I should be more successful, since my father told everyone within earshot repeatedly that I would never amount to anything.
