Danica Patrick finishes third

Danica Patrick finished third in the 2009 Indianapolis 500. That’s her second top-5 finish, and her fourth top-10 finish in five years.

She overcame her #10 starting position and a bit of a screwup coming out of the pits at one point to finish that high.

I keep reading about Danica being another Anna Kournikova – never able to win anything, just making a career on her looks.

As if there’s something wrong with that.

And even if there were…sure, first place is so much better than third that they’re not even on the same continent, but third is hardly nothing. So quit talking smack about Danica, you bunch of stupid misogynists.
